A Marketplace for Child Labor

Why?

  1. As a parent, you might want to help you child learn something new and value working and earning money.
  2. As a child, you might also want the same.
  3. As an employer, you can get a motivated worker to do your simpler (or maybe complicated or specialized knowledge) jobs for a lower cost.
  4. Every young generation is better than their parents’ generation (their potential employer) in some things. Today this seems to be mobile and social. Make use of their expertise.

How?

An online marketplace, where children (with their parents’ involvement and approval) can search for job listings and apply for the job. Employers can post new job listings and choose from the young applicants. These can be a one-time project or a small job, or a continuous working relationship.

Political, Moral and Other Preferences Filter for Your News Consumption

Why?

You just don’t want to see all those irritating news items. The ones that are making you angry because of their stupidity and their lack of understanding what is true and right.

How?

Have an intelligent filter built into the news app (or Facebook) that you tell all your biases to. You teach the filter what irritates you politically, morally and any other conceptual subject of irritation. The filter should be intelligent enough to understand the content of the news and not show it if it is deemed irritating for you.
