What Is the View From Where I Am – Anonymous Confessions of Business Leaders

Why?

It’s interesting to see things through the eyes of great business leaders.

How?

Do deep interviews with business leaders. Keep their anonymity and even obscure particular facts as needed to keep them anonymous. This will make it easier for them to speak more freely. What we are after is their true view of the world, what it means to be in their position, how did they get there, etc. the good, bad and ugly – all anonymously.

Booklet Series on Specific Subject Matters and Their Applications

Why?

Firstly, many subjects have multiple components that can be used by themselves or in combination with some or all of the others. Second, many of these topics can be practical but are presented as theoretical principles with little or no concrete examples or guidance on how to use them. For example, the work by Robert Cialdini on influence can be utilized as a practical toolset in many fields, but the book – although giving multiple research case studies – has no practical use examples.

How?

Create a series of booklets on each component of the subject matter. Each booklet should cover the theory, so the reader understands the why and the how, and then go on with a long list of examples in many areas it can be used general guidelines should also be given if possible. Some of these practical examples use only the booklet’s component, and some use it with more elements from other booklets in the series.

Why?

There are many things you can do that are good for you, but you still don’t do them, because they are complicated, take long, are hard to do, etc., or you don’t know about them.

How?

Get a daily tip; that is easy and straightforward to do. You don’t have to do them all, or even many of them. Because you get one every day, you can pick and choose one to try (each one is simple and easy) from time to time, and after a while, some will become a habit.

World Wide Web of Interesting Historical Facts and Stories Using Augmented Reality

Why?

If you walk almost anywhere, you will see plaques celebrating and informing you of interesting people and facts regarding many places (buildings, parks, etc.) There are much more of these than you see on these plaques and many a place where there is no plaque even though it has an interesting history.

How?

An augmented reality app that when pointed at such a place gives you a list of all the interesting things that happened. Famous people who lived there, historical events, etc. You just point it at a building or even a few buildings, or a whole park, and see the list pops up on the screen beside the place you point at. You can them click on any of these to get many more details and the story.

Fiction With Real Life Business Leaders

Why?

You already have a character that is both famous, and his multiple facets are well known from the media.

How?

Write a fictional novel around that character, or even a series of books with their own world, mixing known facts, background and stories with fictional ones. Just like historical fiction but based on known business leaders.
