Only Sites Dedicated To…

Why?

Many times the information you are looking for is best garnered from sites dedicated to that particular subject and not by searching and getting it from many general places.

How?

A meta-website that lists and allows you to search only sources dedicated to a particular and very specific subject.

A Better Way to Help Understanding How a Particular Web Page Works.

Why?

You see a web page that has some interesting elements in it and would like to know how it works. You now have to look separately at the HTML code, the CSS, JavaScript, etc.

How?

Show all relevant code for specific web page object as a pop-up overlay. This way you don’t have to hunt for each code snippet in their separate, distinct source.

Create a Book Without Writing

Why?

It’s fast, you need very little writing skills and work, and you still get the main credit as an author and editor.

How?

Decide on a subject you want to write a book about and start thinking about an outline. Then go and find the best articles published on that subject. While doing that, your outline will evolve. When you have more than enough for the book, contact the authors of the articles and invite them to collaborate on the book by giving you permission to use their writings. You the. Edit their work and write what is needed to make it a complete book. They will get new exposure and maybe a share of the profits.

Research Army

Why?

To shorten the time it takes to do research for a book, article, etc.

How?

Ask people to help you with research in exchange for their name as a collaborator in the publication. You do the initial research and then share it privately with those who volunteered. They then go and do a deep dive into the subjects you found, reporting on their findings and possibly new ideas for further research. It’s much easier if you already have a name, but it might appeal to others even if you don’t, since most people will not write and publish their work. This gives them an opportunity for their work to be published.

Remember Your Visit App

Why?

Has this ever happened to you? You return from a vacation and don’t remember what you did on what day.

How?

An app that alerts you whenever you arrive at a place to take a photo and caption it, and when you leave alerts you to write a short note (text or audio) about the place you just visited. At the end of the trip, you have a textual and visual timeline that you can export as a video, an HTML page, etc.
