Garage Sale Shop

Why?

No need to have a garage, stand there all day and can be done any day.

How?

Have a store that only sells other people’s “garage sale stuff.”

Use Paper Pop-Ups for Local Business Advertising

Why?

When the recipient opens their post box, the pop-up will stand out and grab their attention. Because it’s unique and playful, they will probably not through it away and also show it to others.

How?

Print your advertising on the paper, and have pop up boxes made from it using folding and rubber bands. Then distribute it to post boxes in your business’ local area. It should be packed flat for distribution and slid into the post box, where it will pop up (partially or fully depending on the size of the post box), and wait to be discovered.

Higher Engagement With Post Box Flyers

Why?

Most flyers go directly from the post box to the trash can.

How?

Use the flyer to do just one thing: get their attention to participate in a game where they can win a prize. Similar to only selling the click in an online ad, you should only sell the first action: they should join the game. The game (treasure hunt, riddle, online and offline) then leads them to you through a funnel.

Increase the Call to Action Conversion Rate – an Experiment

Why?

More conversions = more results (money.)

How?

Ask for a simple and small help like answering a simple question. Now comes the important part: explicitly thanks them and tell them how much you appreciate their help. Later when they see the CTA, they will be more likely to so.

Use the Right Elements on Your Web Page

Why?

Each web page will have different elements that work for it. The “buy” button that converts best on one page can be very different than the one that works on another website.

How?

Have a service that does specific page elements testing. You include a code in your page, and the service will transparently create multiple versions for the element you want to test, run the tests for you to determine the winning version. No work needed from you.
