Do You Want to Know When Your Bus Comes?

Why?

This way you can immerse yourself in whatever you want, reading listening to music etc.

How?

A smartphone app that alerts you one minute before the bus arrives. When you arrive at the bus stop, open the app and choose the bus number you’re waiting for. Then relax and do what you want.

Your Real Network at LinkedIn and Other Social Networks

Why?

You too, just like me, have first-degree connections you have made or accepted, that are not real friends or even acquaintances. It would be good if each connection could be qualified as “existing” (you true friends and acquaintances), or “potential”. Then we could see the network that is more useful to us.

How?

Either use the social network’s API, or an even better solution would be if the social network provider built this functionality into their system.

Say, Where Would You Want to Work?

Why?

We see “best place to work” or “most wanted companies”, but most are lists coming from advertisers, or publishers with an interest in the results of these lists.

How?

Have a website where anyone can just say: “I want to work for X company” – and vote for that company. Then show how many want to for each company.
