An Irritating Little Troll Bot

Why?

As an experiment to see how people react.

How?

Crawl (using multiple and changing account) social networks and blogs for comments that seem to be by trolls. Analyze the comment and using similar but opposite words (like antonyms) answer the comment and try and elicit a reaction. Follow the conversation or flame war that ensues. List these conversations on a central site for all to see.

Why Some Longer Numbers Are Easier to Remember Than Others

Why?

Don’t you find that some long numbers like a phone number or a social security number are easier to remember than others?

How?

Try and find if there is any pattern to the easily remembered numbers, and if it’s consistent with all participants or is there any personal bias.

Selfie Stick for Panoramic Pictures

Why?

When you’re on a balcony and would like to extend where your camera is when taking a panoramic picture, or you want a panoramic selfie from a little distance.

How?

Have a mechanism that at a push of a button both starts the panoramic photo exposure on the camera and also start rotating the camera from one end of the scene to the other.

“Angry Time” Family App

Why?

For that problematic moment when you are angry at each other.

How?

Every member of the family has the app installed on their smartphone. When one of you feels that “that” moment has arrived, and there is no point (or they just don’t want) in continuing the argument, they press the button. Everybody’s phone beeps and from now on its “waiting and letting go” time. This continues until all have pressed the “I’m ok now” button (or an agreed upon time has been reached – the length of which was decided when you all installed the app). When all have pressed the button, only then all will get the “all clear” alert.

Cling-on Stretch Eyewear Satchel

Why?

To protect and keep eyewear (optical and sunglasses) clean.

How?

Make the satchel from a material that has the same qualities as the ones used to clean the lens, but that can also stretch. The satchel is smaller than the eyewear, so when you push it inside it stretches and conforms to the shape of the eyewear. Before you take it out you can wipe it while still inside and take it out cleaned.
