Why waste time going there when they can come to you?
A service with a mobile unit providing diagnostics and basic servicing for your car at home (or another convenient place.) They will come on schedule or when you call them, diagnose any problems and try fixing them on the spot. If needed, they will take your car to be fully serviced and return it to you when done.
You just handed your car to be serviced, and you are waiting in their lounge for them to finish their work and hand it back to you. You don’t really know what is happening and how long it will take.
An app that both the mechanics and you use. The workers use it to signal what the plan of action is, where in the plan are they now (what specifically are they currently working on), and a schedule and finishing estimate for each step and the whole plan. You get to see (with alerts or by checking the app) where they are in the execution plan, and time estimations as to when they’ll finish.
You know the situation: you have an irritating driver behind you, and you would like to let them know how you feel 😉
Have a string of LEDs connected to a motor and a controller, stuck of your back window (maybe with a suction cup), that you can activate from your phone by pushing one button (of a few you prepared in advance) with the right message. The motor will spin up quickly and show the message for a short while.
You don’t remember where you parked.
Have a small remote controlled device (dedicated or using a smartphone) that when activated, raises a visible signal on top of the car (a white flag or blinking extended telescopic “stick.”)
Hasn’t it ever happened that you forgot where you left your car at the car park?
Take a quick picture with your phone of where you parked before leaving the car. Most car parks have some signage indicating location, so include that in the picture. Another way is for the car park operator to have a scannable code (like a QR code) visible for each space. You scan it, and it will tell you where it is so you can consult it when you want to leave.
