Can You Succeed In…

Why?

You might want to achieve something, but you’re not sure if you believe in yourself enough to get to the desired result.

How?

A website and app, where you can list your goal, and invite friends to – anonymously to you – answer two questions. Do they think that:
1. you can achieve the goal?
2. you believe deep down inside, that you can achieve it.
The aggregated results are shown to you.

Professional Services Finder

Why?

You are looking for a new gardening, cleaning, auto repair or other professional services.

How?

Take the old model of asking your friends to a new level by having an online search functionality where you can ask a question like “show me a short list of all plumbers who have good reviews from my online friends.” This can be built on top of an existing social platform, by having a professional service review option. Professional services can have a presence (a company page on Facebook for instance), and people who use them can leave reviews. When you look for a new service provider, the system can then show you the top list based on people you trust – your online friends.

Runner Points Network

Why?

See who else is passing through your favorite spot.

How?

An app that allows you to mark geolocations on your running course that you like (it’s beautiful, it’s a point of achievement, etc.), then see other who are also passing through your points. You can then check their profile and running route. Ping them and make new friends.

What Did I Cook for Them Last Time?

Why?

Sounds familiar? You have friends or family for dinner, and you don’t want to repeat yourself and give them the same food.

How?

An app that lets you take a photo of what you cooked, input who was at dinner and maybe add some notes. Anytime in the future just search for the person or persons coming to the dinner and see what you cooked for them previously.

Guess Who I Am Based on Where I Go

Why?

A mystery game between two friends.

How?

You download the game app and invite someone else to join the game. All communication with them is done through our system, so they don’t know who you are. They get an invite explaining that you “the mystery friend” would like to play a game with them. The objective is for them to find out who you are. They can do that by joining the game. Every time you go somewhere, the app on your phone will ask you if you want to share that location with them (and when to do so – you might be with them at that moment and would like the info delayed.) If you do, they will receive a message with this new information. They have an X amount of time (you decide, maybe two days, maybe a week) when they receive information on your whereabouts, and until that deadline they can collect the information on you and try to figure out who you are. They can also ask for some clues from you, using the app messaging system. They have three tries to guess your identity. If they fail all 3 or the time runs out, your identity will be revealed.
