Augmented Reality Help

Why?

You are stuck. You need (but don’t know how) to replace the doorknob, or the air conditioning unit’s filter, etc.

How?

An app that uses the smartphone’s camera to identify the object you are dealing with, and shows you layered on the video feed from the camera how to do the task you need.

Make Your Real Book Interactive

Why?

You cannot click on a word in a real book to get more information like you can in an ebook reader.

How?

By wearing an augmented reality device (like Google Glass) that can also visually track what you’re doing (like hand gestures), you can simulate the act of clicking on anything in a book and see more information about it projected on the page you are reading.

Augmented Reality Memories

Why?

We all like to remember happy moments and loved one who are not with us anymore.

How?

An app that you can “feed” with photos of people and happy moments of the past. Then when you point the app’s live cam at the spot where that memory took place (like the sofa), it will augment the live view with the people from that memory in the photo. You can pan left and right, and it will be almost as if you are looking at the live event from the past.

The app will identify all the current plants (with your assistance if needed), and will show you in augmented reality a few options of what it can look like with some development. Yu decide which plan is more to your liking and get a list of what to buy, plant, where, and how to take care of it.

How to Augment Reality With the Right Music

Why?

Ever wondered what it would feel like if you could have just the right “soundtrack” playing for you in real life?

How?

Have your smartphone or computer observe you. What are you doing right now? Where are you and what are the background sounds? Based on these observations and on learning from experience, the software will suggest playing an appropriate soundtrack for the current scene in your real life. Just like in the movies.
