Central Repository of Highlights and Notes From Books

Why?

Wouldn’t it be interesting if we could look at other people’s notes and what they highlighted while reading a certain book?

How?

Allow people to add their own notes to listed books (and add new books if they are not yet listed), and keep them in a central repository online. Everything should be indexed and searchable.

“State of Mind” Music Play List Repository

Why?

Sometimes you need to get into the right mood. Maybe your kids irritated you, and then you need to work, be creative, find a solution to a problem you’ve been working on etc. Music helps, and people have their own experiences and preferences as to what music does it for them.

How?

Have an online repository, where you can create a playlist with what works for you for a given mood you want to get into. You can also check others’ lists and try them out when you need to get into a certain mood and you don’t have a playlist you can start with.

Never Lose Your Favorite Quotes

Why?

It would be very useful to immediately be able to highlight something you read, and have it in an online library with a link to the original document.

How?

Have an  iPhone extension (and comparable solution on Android phones) you can use when you read something and would like you can invoke when you selected a text in a document that has a URL. When invoked the extension should save the selected text with a link to the original document URL in your own online repository that you can access anytime on the web or with the app of the extension.
