Scavenger Hunt Inside One Website
Why?
As a fun game, teaching and marketing device.
How?
Start with the first page. Explain how the game works and give the first lesson. At the end of the lesson give a clue as to what to search for on the site, based on what you have just taught.
They might need to use the sites search (if the found out what to search for), or complete an address (URL) to find the next step. Give small bonuses or prizes on each phase to encourage them.
Anyone (or just the first one) who completes the whole hunt gets a big prize.
The clue to the next step is always based on the last page, and the lessons learned so far.

Most cooking websites and apps center around the recipes. This one is different.
How?
Have a cooking community website that is organized around the user and not a particular recipe. When you look up a recipe, first you check the recipe publisher’s member profiles, and then their recipes. You can follow them to get updates, communicate with them, rate them and their recipes, etc. As a user, you can also publish your original recipes or your version of any recipe you think is THE recipe for that dish.

How?
A website where visitors can find home made tasty and healthy recipes for their favorite store bought snacks. You can browse and find the recipe for a particular snack that is to your liking then try it at home, and also publish your version.
