Publish Top Curated Content Only in Specific Verticals

Why?

To have one reliable source for top content in a particular niche.

How?

Instead of creating original content by in-house writers, have many external excellent creators do it. It might have already been published on the author’s website, another platform, or directly submitted. In any case, a dedicated editor for the particular vertical has (after finding it and contacting the creator) been working with the author for it to be published in the specific vertical’s online publication. The article itself and not a link to it is published. Only chose the top content for each niche.

Get More Opt Ins

Why?

Whether you want them to opt-in to your email list, or a continuity program, a higher and more committed opt-in rate is desirable.

How?

Don’t use forced continuity (lots of refunds, complaints, payment processors don’t like it, etc.), or opt out. In both cases, you have one option that is checked. This is not as strong because it is a passive decision by the customer, and he is not making any real commitment to this choice (and he will opt out quite quickly.) Instead, give him two options to choose from. By making him “declare” his choice, he will have a higher degree of commitment. To further enhance this, also show him what he’ll lose by making the wrong choice, for instance: “Yes I need continuous help and today I will get the monthly membership for 30% less” and “No I never need any help, and I don’t mind losing the special 30% discount price and paying 50% more when I do need it and want to join.”

Immediate Answers by Expert Peers

Why?

Get the most up to date knowledge and insight of your peers in real time – now.

How?

Peer to peer experts network. You are an expert at something and so is each one of the members of the network. Anytime you need an answer or some information; you can ask the network and members who are able at that time will immediately give you their best answers. If too many answers are sent, editors (also part of the network) will filter them and distil them to a useable list of pieces of information, ideas, advice, etc. You can use the network only if you also have an expertise and contribute to it by answering others’ questions.

See Who Else Is Sailing in the Area Around You

Why?

It’s fin to see who are also sailing in your area.

How?

An app that shows a map of your area with others (who are also using the app) showing their place on it. When you first launch the app, you will need to create a profile for yourself, and choose the size of area you are willing to share your location in (for safety reasons you might want not to share your sailing location with the whole world.)
