One of the worst problems is you are dealing with the same email again and again. When it first arrives you open it to see what’s inside. You don’t want to deal with it now (for real good reasons or maybe just procrastination), so you close it. A few hours or days later you open it again, spend some time on it and then leave it again. By the time you get to doing something about it (or more likely deleting it), you already spend too much time on it.
Have an option in your email client to have emails only open once. After you close the email, it will disappear into the “already opened ” abyss, where it will be permanently deleted after a while. You can, of course, look for it there, but I’ll bet you you’ll never look for most of them ever again. This will:
1. Teach you only to deal with an email once.
2. Force you to deal with every email (even if just deleting it.)
3. Help you not use your email system as a database – if it’s important save it in a better place.
You are using a CMS to manage your content (like WordPress), so it would be a great feature to manage your outreach campaigns from the same platform.
A plugin that allows you to manage outreach of pages and posts. You can manage:
1. A master list of outreach contacts.
2. Connection to external mail services (like Gmail) for sending outreach emails directly from this plugin.
3. Per post and page CRM-like outreach history and management: who you are trying to reach, what’s the current status, notes, etc.
During your day you might encounter a situation when you need a bit of encouragement or reminder.
Software that runs in the background of your computer, tablet, and smartphone, and monitors your behavior. When it detects certain signs it will determine by those and by past experiences what would be the best message for you to hear at that time. You will then hear (and also possibly see a video clip of) your favorite motivational speaker delivering that message to you. You can then give feedback if it hit the spot or not so that the software can learn to be more accurate.
If you already drink wine regularly, but feel you don’t know wine, because you find yourself sticking to buying the same wine again and again.
Every time you buy a familiar bottle of wine, for every such bottle buy a bottle you never tried before. Soon, you’ll have more experience than most wine drinkers.
You want to get up just before sunrise.
An alarm clock app that wakes you up just before sunrise (based on your location and date.) You set up how much before sunrise you would like to wake up, and how many hours of sleep you need. The alarm will start alerting you to go to sleep based on that (you can also choose how long before going to sleep you want it to start “bugging” you.)
