How to Have More Confidence in Articles You Read

Why?

It used to be that when you read an article in a newspaper you could (mostly) count on some standards of journalism, like fact-checking and research. Not so today.

How?

For every article published, there should be a checklist with assumptions about the article and journalism standards explicitly declared by the author. The emphasis is on an explicit declaration by the author and the publisher. If something (fact checking) is not checked on the standard list, you immediately see it.

Chaotic Retail Experiment

Why?

The premise is that no order (chaos) might lead to discovery and higher sales.

How?

A shop (toys or books) that each night rearranges the whole store so that every item is in a new place and there is no order anywhere.

Stackable Electric Plugs

Why?

Plug in more devices in a smaller and more efficient space.

How?

Each plug should also be a socket for the next plug. This way you could stack multiple plugs into one wall socket.
