Non-Fiction Books for Kids

Why?

You have fiction for young adults, as well as “educational” non-fiction, but not many books that deal with current topics or serious adult topics like, finance, marketing, philosophy, etc.

How?

Publish books on subjects that matter today – the same topics adults find interesting and read about – written for kids.

Items Handmade by Kids for Sale

Why?

Some kids have the talent and drive to make beautiful and useful items, but selling them is a problem because most online solutions are geared towards adults.

How?

Build a marketplace for items handmade by kids. The platform should take into consideration the legal and mental situation of the kids selling: their age, parents’ involvement, particular logistical problems, etc.

Running Programs for Kids

Why?

Help your kids like running and make it a habit.

How?

An app that has the following elements to help kids start and continue running:
1. Running programs specifically designed to help kids start running and fall in love with the results (achievement, self-esteem, health, beautiful body, etc.)
2. Sharing their way(s): to all the social networks they currently use, using the tools they like (emojis, stickers, etc.) and allowing for feedback to be seen in the running app.
3. Track and show the same data as for adults just in a more “youthful” way.
4. Apart from preprogrammed running sessions, also allow them to create their own interval training when they reach the point they want to.
5. All programs should have audio cues informing them what and when is the next interval.
6. Play their favorite music in the background.
7. Allow them to run together while at different geographical locations. This will enable them to communicate directly with each other during the run. Just like a group phone call.

Help Your Kids Know What’s Best to Avoid Online

Why?

You either try to control what your kids can access online (but you can’t control every device they might use), or you trust them to know. Why not help them do the right thing?!

How?

A browser extension that does not block specific types of sites (pornographic, unsuitable horror, etc.) but instead shows the child a message saying something like “this is probably not suitable for you because it contains … You can go ahead and browse the site, but I suggest you don’t. It’s your decision, and I trust you to make the right one.” He can then choose whether to leave or stay.

Pet Guide for Parents

Why?

Your kids are begging you for a pet. It would be good to know in advance what it takes to have one.

How?

A guide that shows you – separately for each animal – what it takes to have one at home. Details such as eating habits, smells, typical life span, amount, and detail of care needed, what can you do if it’s not a good fit for your family after all, what to do when going on a trip, etc.
