Combine Online Low Priced Sale and Offline High Priced Sale

Why?

The best time to sell more is when your client just bought something from you.

How?

After completing a low price purchase (that just qualifies them as a buyer), don’t leave the high priced item to an online upsell option. Instead call them immediately, ask them a few qualifying questions and do a whole upsell process (that you can control much better) over the phone (compared to an online simple buy option.)

One Click Online Actions From Offline Advertising

Why?

Enable the use of QR codes to perform actual online actions like liking a Facebook page, requesting a coupon, or even quickly ordering a product or service.

How?

A two part solution. The first part is a text-based command protocol that can be embedded in any QR code containing the action to be taken. The second part is a special QR code app that understands these commands and uses the scanned command in conjunction with existing data on the smartphone (Facebook account, phone number, credit card, email address, etc.) to execute the command with one fast QR code scan.

It stands to reason that what people are currently interested in when visiting your website, might predict what shoppers would also be interested in your brick and mortar store.

How?

Get regular alerts on specific activities that show greater interest (or actual purchasing trends if you also have a web shop) and take those into constant consideration in your retail store: arrangements of products, special ad-hoc promotions, etc.

How?

When they visit your store (offline or online) immediately give them a coupon with a particular money value they can spend (you can have a minimum purchase amount set to use this coupon.) Now also inform them that if they buy today, you will give them the same amount again as a present when they pay, effectively doubling their bonus. Now they have what seems like two gifts, but only if they buy now.

The Modern Dating Club

Why?

To help people find each other romantically by using the best of both worlds, offline and online.

How?

First, online. People sign up and fill their profile details.
Second, offline. People go to an event at the dating club. It’s like any other bar or club, with drinks, a dance floor, love entertainment, etc. Only people who registered online can enter the event, and each gets a badge with a number to stick on their chest (similar to what you get at a convention.) When you are there, you try to enjoy yourself, look around until you see someone you like.
Finally, both offline and online working together: you then open the app and type in their number, check their profile, and if you are interested you “poke” them. They get an alert and can check your profile, and if they are also interested they “poke” you back. If that happens, you can look for each other in the crowd (or the app will tell you both where to go to meet each other – you already know how the other one looks) and take it from there. If not you just continue having fun until you see someone new you like and repeat the procedure.
