Collaborate and Make a Movie-Book

Why?

To allow people to collaborate on a movie-book – a book enhanced with audio-visuals (still and moving images, soundtrack.)

How?

An online software that allows three people to collaborate on a movie-book:
1. The author who writes the text.
2. The director/art director who creates and curates the short clips and images for the movie-book based on the text.
3. The music director/composer/player who creates and curates the soundtrack for the movie-book.

What Is Your Version of This Popular Article?

Why?

So you can show others how you would have written it.

How?

An online software/website where you give simple editing tools and a popular original article to anyone who would like to show their version of it – a version that can come to an entirely different conclusion, use a different train of thought, etc. The author of the new version can use any or all text from the original article, rearrange it, do whatever you like to it.

You Want Me to Read Your Email? Do This First!

Why?

If you are even a little known (published a book, a business leader, write a popular blog, etc.), you probably get a lot of unsolicited emails. It would be good to have something in return for all the time you waste on those emails.

How?

An email service that allows whitelisted people (your contact list) to send you an email just as they do today. Anyone else who sends you an email, before you receive it, gets an automated reply saying something like this (for instance if you just had your book published): “Hi. You are not on my white list, and since I receive a lot of emails from people I don’t know, I need to know this is beneficial for both of us. I ask anyone who wants my attention to do me a small favor and give me their attention first. I just published my new book, and it will help me if you take some time and help me promote it. Click on any of the following buttons to help me promote it. The more you help me by giving your attention to me and sharing on multiple platforms the more attention I can give your email. Thanks.” You can set a threshold for how much they need to do for their email to get to your inbox.

Let Your Best Customers Raise Your Prices

Why?

You will get your prices going up, by an independent system. The buyers pushing your prices up will get the lower price they got before the rise for a period.

How?

A system where you join and set your current price for your services. These should reflect your actual market price at that time. You now invite your best customers to vote your prices up based on their experience with you. This becomes your new price for all customers, except those who voted your price up – they still get their current rate for a period you decide on. This dynamically builds up your prices (and as a bonus is also a testimonial by your clients who vote), in an objective way, so new customers have a good reference as to why you charge the amounts you do, and current customers have the motive to help you. You control the amount of price hikes that can be voted, and also the frequency because you don’t want your prices to escalate into counterproductive heights.

Help Dealing With Lots of Email

Why?

Email carries no cost for the sender but is very costly to the recipient because it might be a waste of time.

How?

Have an email client app (on smartphones, tablets or the web), that helps you get rid of time wasting emails quickly by:
1. Telling you how long the email is.
2. Estimating how long will it take to read it, taking into consideration external links that you might have to visit.
3. Showing how many users considered the email or the sender as irrelevant or spam.
4. Based on all these factors, plus your previous behavior, and some text analysis, show you a recommendation of either “delete” or “read.”
