Family Synchronized Shopping List

Why?

Avoid both buying the same items twice or not at all because of you either both went shopping (maybe even also one of the kids) or none of you did because you all thought the other one did.

How?

A smartphone app that everyone in the family who does shopping for everyday items installs. There is one shopping list with two views – a shared one with all the items, and your list of the items you chose to do the shopping for. Each person can add a new item to the shopping list, or mark an item in one of two ways:
1. I am going to buy this today
2. Purchased
So if you know that on your way home from work you are going to pick up milk and eggs, you mark them as “I’ll get this,” so others can see that it’s been taken care of and not plan on buying it too. When you bought the item, you mark it as “purchased.” You can also purchase an item someone else is going to if it’s not purchased yet, by “stealing it from them” and marking it as “I’ll get it.” In that case, the other person already planning on buying it will get an alert.

Only Deal With Buyers

Why?

It’s a different ball game when your email list is only real buyers – no “subscribers” you need then to convert to buyers. You can invest more time and money in such a list and get a much better return.

How?

Instead of building a whole mechanism to attract people by creating and promoting content, use existing content that ranks well on the SERPs and advertise directly on (or in) that content.

Lets Not Forget About…

Why?

Partners, couples, and other people close to each other share all kinds of things when they meet: stories, facts, gossip, etc. Many times you forget what you wanted to share by the time you meet.

How?

An app where you can have a shared list that both of you can see and add to. When something pops into your mind that you would like to share, you just add to the list a new item by writing one or two words that would remind you what it was. Both of you can see and use the list before and also during the time you spend together next.

Request a Software

Why?

Many times you are looking for software that does not exist.

How?

A website where people can search for existing software requests and vote them up, or suggest new ones. It can be a small and simple to build WordPress plugin or a complex stand-alone software product.
